Appearance: Stuck at 5'4 since she was 11, Taylor's thin, with a runner's body and legs that go on. Her long blonde hair is usually straight unless she decides to curl it, and her piercing blue eyes are offset by a bright sunny smile that would warm anyone's day.

Personality: Bubbly, cheerful, and outgoing, Taylor is the life of any party. She doesn't let her deafness affect the way she interacts with people, and actually loves anything to do with human to human interaction.

The ultimate older sister, Taylor strives to protect and shield her younger siblings, and doesn't like when the tables are turned and Xander has to protect her instead.

Special abilities/talents: Taylor can read lips very well, unless the speaker isn't looking at her or is mumbling, she can usually understand them. She is also an expert herbalist, though she rarely uses this knowledge.

History: Taylor Russell was born to Michael and Daisy Russell, a flower child among hippies. Daisy and Michael were so free spirited, they didn't worry when their daughter didn't hit developmental milestones like she was supposed to. When her younger brother came along at ten months, their attention was even more fractured. It wasn't until Xander began to speak, after Michael had left, that Daisy remembered her daughter had never uttered a word.

Instead of enrolling her daughter in a special school, Daisy decided that she would teach Taylor all she needed to know herself. Of course, being as she was flighty, her mother, Sarah, took on that task, teaching Taylor to speak and read lips as she taught her about herbs.

Once Sarah deemed her proficient enough, Taylor was enrolled in Mysteria's school system. Because of her quick learning abilities, she was able to keep up with her classmates academically, but they never quite accepted her socially, though Taylor was extra bright and cheerful to make up for it.

Now that she's graduated, she's working at the library, a place where being quiet isn't that unusual.

Flaws: Deaf- This is a pretty big one for Tay. She's learned to overcome it for the most part, but it means she has to rely heavily on her younger siblings and a mother that is as flaky as all get-out. Along with this, her voice has a slightly muffled sound to it.

Has No Enemies- Taylor is able to talk to ear off of anyone who she catches in her grips. Good guy, bad guy, toadstool. Sometimes she ends up oversharing with people that end up using the information for some pretty bad things.

Aged Fast- All of Daisy's kids have had to learn to be somewhat self-reliant, and Taylor's had it the worst. She feels responsible for her younger siblings, and some days resents her mother's free-spirited ways for forcing her to grow up too fast.

Merits:Proficient in ASL. Duh.

Fast Learner- Taylor can pick things up very quickly, as long as someone takes the time to explain it to her.
